Information Technology (IT) plays a vital role in today’s corporate environment, as it is essential for retaining a competitive edge and providing clients with top-notch products and services. The Level-3 Foundation Diploma in IT is a 60-credit programme considered at the same level as an A Level qualification. It is designed to equip students with the fundamental skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the IT sector or for further academic endeavours.
This certificate is designed to give learners a comprehensive understanding of the IT industry and help them acquire current skills and practices in multiple areas. These encompass computer systems, networks, coding, website creation, mobile communications, cyber security, and the utilisation of social media in business.
The Level-3 programme consists of six modules and six written tasks, with each module and assignment requiring 40 hours of supervised instruction. In addition, each module offers an optional 30 to 50 hours of supplementary materials, such as suggested activities, readings, online resources, and self-assessment exercises, to enhance the overall learning experience.

University Progression
Upon completing this course, students can apply for enrollment in a comprehensive Bachelor of Arts degree programme at many universities in the United Kingdom. Alternatively, individuals can undertake our Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management and subsequently enrol in a BA Top Up programme at various universities in the United Kingdom.

| Networks Module | This section of the course evaluates your capacity to write clearly and effectively while following precise instructions in the exam paper. |
| Mobile Communications | This session emphasises comprehensive evaluations, in contrast to the concise assessments found on platforms such as Trustpilot, highlighting the substantial influence of online reviews in today’s corporate environment. |
| Cyber Security | This module focuses on acquiring knowledge of distinct transactional writing structures, including instructions, reports, letters, reviews, blogs, articles, and pamphlets. |
| Written Assignments | The Level 3 Foundation Diploma in IT consists of 6 modules, followed by 6 written assignments. After finishing the modules, students are granted access to these assignments. Each assignment has a word count that falls between the range of 5,000 to 8,000 words. During the course, students are advised on modules and tasks using the ‘Tutor’ part of the learning platform. These tasks are essential components of the curriculum, facilitating a thorough comprehension of the course material. |
